Obituary Mary "LaLou" Campos, 78, of N. 2nd Street, Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at Carlsbad Medical Center. Funeral services are scheduled for 4:00 PM, Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ramon V. Florez officiating. Cremation will take place following the service. Mary LaLou Campos was born March 2, 1939 in Ft. Davis, Texas to Carlos A. and Petra (Rodriguez) Jacquez. She was known as a hard-working person. Mary Lou loved her family and enjoyed crocheting. She was preceded in death by her parents; sons: Sam Lopez and Donnie Lopez; brothers: Frank, Alfred, Joe, Jimmy, Billy and Johnny Jacquez; sisters: Olivia Jacquez and Dora Munoz. Survivors are her daughters: Norma Lopez and Josie Lopez; sons: Joe Campos, Jr., Jay Campos and Anthony Campos; 17 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; sisters: Emma Sandate and Julia Rodriguez and numerous nieces and nephews. Honorary pallbearers are Joe Campos, Jr., Jay Campos, Anthony Campos, Frank Jacquez, Jr., Robert Jacquez, Anthony Campos, II and Ruben Garcia.
