Mary L. Dennison

Mary L. Dennison, 81, of Mountain View Drive, Carlsbad, NM, passed away December 12, 2022 at her home.  Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, Friday, December 23, 2022 at Carlsbad Cemetery with Chaplain Mike Adams officiating.  Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Mary was born December 13, 1940 in Fairmont, West Virginia to John and Lorraine (Phral) Yaquinto.  She moved to Carlsbad in 1961.  After raising her children, Mary went to work in the auto parts industry.  She worked for several auto parts businesses before retiring in 2007: Car Quest for 15 years, Big A Auto Parts and Garrett’s Auto Supply.  Mary enjoyed fishing, camping and dancing but most of all spending time with her family.  She was known for her witty personality and infectious smile.  Mary never met a stranger and any one that met her also loved her.  She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Gary Dennison.

Survivors are her children: Brad Dennison, Sherry Murray and Bryan Dennison and wife, Jessica; grandchildren: Nichole Dennison, Austin Dennison and wife, Meagen, Eden Dennison, Morgan Dennison, Jaime Murray, Tanishia Cho and husband, Will and Andrew Dennison; 16 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Donna Bunch and numerous nieces and nephews.
