Mark R. Carrasco

Mark R. Carrasco, 49, of Carrasco Road, Loving, New Mexico, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, July 25, 2010. Per Mark's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation. Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for Wednesday, July 28, 2010, 2:30 PM, at San Jose Catholic Church with Father Valentine M. Jankowski OFM, Conv. officiating. Interment will follow in Loving Cemetery, Loving, New Mexico. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Mark was born February 28, 1961 in Carlsbad, New Mexico to C.A. Jr. and Emma (Urquidez) Carrasco. He was raised in Loving and graduated from Carlsbad High School. Mark worked for Mosaic for the past nineteen years. He was an avid hunter. Mark enjoyed working on his farm and being outside. He is survived by his wife Annette of the family home, his sons Jared and Cody along with Esme, Isabella and his grandson Mark Isiah. Mark is also survived by his parents C.A. Jr. and Emma Carrasco, his brother Ruben Carrasco and family, his sisters Crina Rios and family and Candie Carrillo and family, in-laws Fred and Regina Rodriquez, sister-in-laws Kris Ann Smith and family and Yvonne Rodriquez and family.
