Marjorie M. Davis

Marjorie M. Davis, 81, of N. Fourth St., Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away December 3, 2010 at her home. A Graveside Service is scheduled for 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 8, 2010, at Woodbine Cemetery, Artesia, NM. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Marjorie M. Davis was born August 23, 1929 in Hope, New Mexico to Frank and Mary (Cox) Milton. She relocated to Carlsbad in 1988. Marjorie enjoyed playing bingo and listening to Bluegrass music. She especially loved spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harley Myrth Davis and son, Harley D. Davis. Survivors are daughter, Jean Shea of Hemet, CA; son, Joe D. Davis and wife, Kimberly of Carlsbad, NM; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brother, Alvin Milton and wife, Mary of Georgetown, TX and sister, Oleta Barnhill and husband, Ralph of Hemet, CA.
