Marie Ellen Reeves

Marie Ellen Reeves, 63, of Del Rio St., Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at her home. There will be no visitation, cremation has taken place. A graveside service is scheduled for Monday, November 19, 2012, 11:00 AM, at Carlsbad Cemetery with Pastor Randy Land officiating. Interment will follow in Carlsbad Cemetery, Carlsbad, New Mexico. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Marie Ellen Reeves was born on April 19, 1949, in Albuquerque, NM, to James Marshall and Marie Catherine (Casabonne) Lazenby. She married Billy Joe Reeves on January 25, 1974. Marie collected owls and enjoyed watching T.V. She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband in 2006. Survivors are her daughter, Tiffany King and husband, Danny of Carlsbad, NM; son, Justin Reeves of Carlsbad, NM; granddaughter, Lily King; brother, Jimmy Lazenby of Carlsbad, NM; aunt, Helen Disque of Albuquerque, NM and friend, Lacy Christian of Carlsbad, NM.
