Margaret S. Carrasco

Margaret S. Carrasco, 85, of West Stevens, Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away May 24, 2010 at her son's home. Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for Saturday, May 29, 2010, 10:00 AM, at St. Edward Catholic Church with Father Cyprian Uline, OFM, Conv. officiating. A private interment will be held at a later date. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Margaret S. Carrasco was born March 1, 1925 in Clint, Texas to Cecilio and Modesta (Vasquez) Saenz. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Carrasco; sister Susy Jaramillo and brother, Joe Saenz. She is survived by her son: Noel Carrasco and wife, Lucy of Carlsbad, NM; grandson, Christopher Carrasco and wife, Amanda of Carlsbad, NM; two granddaughters: Stephanie Carrasco and Anna Lisa Carrasco of Carlsbad, NM; eight siblings: Socorro Saenz, Sammy Saenz, Clara Felix , Juan Saenz, Benjamin Saenz, Bernie Saenz, Bobby Saenz and Alicia Serrano and numerous nieces, nephews and special friends.
