Margaret Ann Mackie, also known as Marge, passed away on October 6, 2023, at the age of 79 in Carlsbad, New Mexico. She was born to her parents, Richard and Mary Davis, on February 6, 1944, in La Porte, Indiana. Margaret was a loving wife to her late husband, William B. Mackie, for 54 years.

Margaret was a devoted mother to her daughters, Dr. Mary L. Anderson (Corri Fry) of Carlsbad, NM, and Diana Stoneberger (William) of Stover, MO. She cherished her role as a grandmother to her three grandchildren, William Tyler Smith (Brenda) of Stewartville, MN, Connor Smith (Megan) of Middleton, ID, and Alexandra Clouse (John) of Friend, NE. Margaret also enjoyed being a great-grandmother to eight great-grandchildren.

In her free time, Margaret enjoyed reading, spending time with her three dogs, Mikey, Squirt, and Jack, following NASCAR races, and listening to Celtic Thunder Music. These hobbies brought her great pleasure and allowed her to relax and unwind.

Margaret will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Her warm presence and loving nature touched the lives of those around her. May her memories be a source of comfort during this difficult time.
