Marcos L. Elizondo

Marcos L. Elizondo, 53, of Verdel Avenue, Carlsbad, NM passed away July 27, 2022 at his home. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service is scheduled for 4:30 PM, Thursday, August 11, 2022 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home Chapel with Terry McKean officiating. 

Marcos was born June 25, 1969 in Los Angeles, California to Martin M. and Maria (Lujan) Elizondo.  He loved his children and grandchildren and always made everyone laugh. Marcos enjoyed playing the guitar.  He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Teresa Ann Elizondo; brother, Martin L. Elizondo and sister, Martha Elizondo Contreras.

Survivors are his son, Marcos G. Elizondo and wife, Iris; stepchildren: Christal Denee Fuentez, Nichole Renee Fuentez, Ramon Martin Fuentez, Jr. and Shalisa Lashaye Fuentez; grandchildren: Adrian, Elijah, Noah, Chaleesta, Charitee, Isreal, Zerlina, Jazlyn, Aurelia, Aaliyah, Perseyis, Joy, Luis, Lino, Yamilette, Aryana, Aaron, Andrew and Nathaniel; sisters: MaryAnn Elizondo, Marquerita Adair, Susana Elizondo, Marina Elizondo and numerous nieces and nephews.
