Marcelo G. Chelo Salcido, 79, of Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at Carlsbad Medical Center. Visitation will be 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM, Sunday, December 17, 2017at Denton-Wood Funeral Home. A Vigil is scheduled for 7:00 PM, Sunday, December 17, 2017 at St. Edward Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, December 18, 2017 at St. Edward Catholic Church with Fr. Pasala Hruday Kumar officiating. Carlsbad Veterans Honor Guard will provide military honors. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
