Madeline E. Hayes

Madeline E. Hayes, 92, of North 11th Street, Carlsbad, NM, passed away Monday, April 6, 2015 at Landsun Homes. There will be no public visitation. The family will receive friends at Loretta Tyrrell's residence. A Graveside Service is scheduled for Saturday, April 11, 2015, 10:00 AM, at Sunset Gardens Memorial Park with Pastor Darrin Milgrim officiating. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Madeline E. Hayes was born March 30, 1923 in Huntsville, Texas to Johnny and Velma Eugenia (Baurdo) Johnson. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Rufus Hayes; grandson, Russell Stinson and son-in-law, Terry Tyrrell. Survivors are her daughters: Geraldine Stinson and companion, Terry Thompson of Carlsbad, NM; Loretta Tyrrell of Carlsbad, NM, Doris Kidd and husband, Lanny of Colorado Springs, CO; grandchildren: Gena Ingram, Terry W. Tyrrell, Lanesia Kidd, Carol Elmore; 14 great-grandchildren and brother, William Johnson and wife, Judy of Dayton, TX.
