Macaria Kinaman, 74, passed away on December 3, 2023, at Covenant Specialty Hospital in Lubbock, Texas.

The viewing for Macaria is scheduled for Thursday, December 14, at Denton Wood Funeral Home from 5:00 – 7:00 pm.

The rosary is scheduled for 9:30 am Friday, December 15, at San Jose Catholic Church, followed by the mass at 10 am, followed by the burial at Santa Catarina Cemetery. A luncheon will be held at the San Jose Catholic Hall following burial services. Pallbearers will be Mercer Duran, Tony Duran, Manuel Duran, Jordan Kinaman, Austin Kinaman, and Kody Duran.

Macaria was born on March 10, 1949. She and her husband, Alvie Kinaman, were happily married for 60 years. She enjoyed cooking for her loved ones, doing arts and crafts, ceramics, and spending time with family and friends. Macaria was a Caring Hands volunteer and a member of the San Jose Roman Catholic Church. Her favorite pastime was playing with her grandkids and great-grandkids.

Macaria is survived by her loving husband Alvie Kinaman, son Alvie Kinaman, Jr., daughter JoAnna Callaway, and husband Jack. Three granddaughters: Anjelica Solano, Courtni Callaway, and Alexa Kinaman. Three grandsons: JJ Callaway, Jordan Kinaman, and Austin Kinaman. Three great-grandsons: Michael Solano, Colsen Callaway, and Christopher Solano (her little man). Siblings: sister Benita Gonzales, brother Manuel Duran, and wife Cindy, brother Mercer Duran and wife Pam, sister Rosa Briones and husband Frank, and brother Tony Duran, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Jacinto Duran.
