Lorraine J. White, 59, of West Tampico Street, Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away Thursday, October 7, 2021 at Carlsbad Medical Center. Visitation will be 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM, Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at 2:00 PM, at Sunset Church of Christ with Mike Veilleux officiating. Interment will follow in Carlsbad Cemetery, Carlsbad, New Mexico. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Lorraine J. White, was born March 15, 1962 in Carlsbad, New Mexico to Benito M. and Zulema (Terrazas) Juarez, Sr. She graduated from Carlsbad High School in 1981. Lorraine received an associates degree from NMSU-Carlsbad. She had several jobs over the years including WIPP, Adult Basic Education and most recently Wal-Mart. Lorraine always enjoyed attending church activities and events. She loved her family and always made the effort to keep in touch. Lorraine was preceded in death by her parent, sisters: Cecelia T. Juarez, Brenda J. Hart, Dorothy T. Juarez; brothers: Jimmie Munoz, Benito M. Juarez, Jr. and Thomas T. Juarez. Survivors are Tom L. White; son: Kendel L. White; daughter: Mona M. White; sisters: Elizabeth T. Juarez, Virginia T. Juarez; brother: Mariano T. Juarez and wife, Toni; twin brother: Francisco T. Juarez; brother: Dibrell T. Juarez and wife, Lety; sisters: Linda Claffey, Olga T. Juarez, Tina T. Juarez, Sherry T. Juarez and numerous nieces and nephews. Condolences may be expressed at dentonwood.com
