Lorena R. Perez

Lorena Perez, 62, of West Pierce Street, Carlsbad, NM, passed away Thursday, November 12, 2015 at Lakeview Christian Home. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service is scheduled for 10:00 AM, Thursday, November 19, 2015 at Fox and Lake Church of Christ with Leon Garcia officiating. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Lorena Perez was born in Carlsbad, NM to Jose R. Perez and the late Mikela (Mickey) Pineda Perez on June 8, 1953. Lorena leaves behind 3 children: daughter, Kathy Jo Perez; sons: Joseph R. Perez and George R. Perez; 15 grandchildren; sisters: Olga Ingram and Michelle Aguilar. Lorena was a loving caretaker. She was also a nurse aide.
