Linnie May Reznik, 87, of Tierra Del Sol, Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away Thursday, July 3, 2014 at her home. Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation. A Memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, July 12, 2014, 2:00 PM, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses with Bro. George Mendoza officiating. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Linnie May Reznik was born October 15, 1926 in Tokio, Texas to Jim and Isabell (Rhea) Hughlett. She moved to Carlsbad as a young woman. Being a mother was a priority to Linnie as she was a wonderful teacher of Jehovah God's word. Later in her life, she became a full time minister and worked as a reflexologist. Linnie touched many lives and will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Sterling A. Farmer; second husband, Frank J. Reznik; sisters: Jimmie Lee Patton and Mary Lou Lawler. Survivors are her children: Donella Shanor of Carlsbad, NM, Sterling Farmer and wife, Anna of Artesia, NM, Marcia Renshaw and husband, Butch of Pecos, TX; grandchildren: Jonathan Harper, Michael Farmer, Misty Farmer, Kevin Renshaw, Robin Hernandez; 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandaughter and numerous nieces and nephews.
