Lina M. Rodriguez

Obituary Ms. Lina Martinez Rodriguez was born January 18, 1941 in Carlsbad, New Mexico. She worked at the Potash Mines, did roughneck on drilling rigs and also worked in nursing. Lina was preceded in death by her husband, Tiburcio (Bucho) Rodriguez; mother, Eva; father, Cosme Martinez, Sr.; brother, Sammy and nephews Richard and Gilbert. Ms. Rodriguez was called home to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 4, 2018 at the age of 78. She leaves to cherish her memories: three sisters: Minni Parraz, Mary Parraz and Marge Galindo; brother, Cosme, Jr. (Boy); her five children: Hazel Franco, Danny Munoz, Kathy Carrasco, Diane and Ramona, Denise and Larry Ingram, Chris and Amber Perry; 12 grandchildren, great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 5:00 PM 7:00 PM, Monday, November 12, 2018 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home. A Rosary is scheduled for 7:00 PM, Monday, November 12, 2018 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at San Jose Catholic Church with Fr. Martin Cordero officiating. Interment will follow in Carlsbad Cemetery, Carlsbad, New Mexico. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Pallbearers will be Ysidro, Doug, Leon, Frankie, Isaac and Justin.
