Lawrence Rayburn Jr.

Lawrence Rayburn, Jr. went to his eternal home on the evening of July 30, 2023, leaving his loving wife, Samantha, his fur babies, and brother Harland to remember him with love.

His mother, Gladys and father, Lawrence, Sr., sisters: Gladys Barbara Drake, Darby Joy Haley and brother Buel Crabb passed before him.

Lawrence was born March 3, 1949 in Kermit, Texas.  He graduated from Wink High School and joined the Air Force, serving in Vietnam before his discharge.  He met the love of his life, Samantha Jo Benstem and they were married August 4, 1986, moving to Lubbock, Texas where he worked for Texas Instruments.  They bought their farm near Verhalen, Texas in 2001 where they continued to reside until his passing.  Services are pending.
