Laura Ann Brazeal, 28, of Curry Road, Carlsbad, NM, passed away Saturday, August 16, 2014 at her home. There will be no visiation, cremation has taken place. A family interment will be 10:00 AM, Sunday, August 24, 2014 in Bounds Cemetery, Black River Village, New Mexico. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Laura Ann Brazeal was born January 15, 1986 to John Thomas and Lisa Marie (Latimer) Brazeal in Carlsbad, NM. She was preceded in death by her father, John Thomas Brazeal; brothers, Will Casey Hedrick; daughter, Jade Rennee Holman; cousin, James Brandon Bounds; grandfather, David Larry Latimer and great-grandfather, Carl Robinson. Survivors are her mother, Lisa Latimer Brazeal Hedrick of Carlsbad, NM; step-dad, Justin Hedrick; children: Jordan Marie Star (Jacelyn Johnson), Justin Thomas (Dustin Johnson), Carma Jade (Trayson Johnson), John Casey Red (John Casey Mitchell); brothers: Johnny Ray Brazeal, Clay Brazeal, Peyton Willis, Tuff Billy John Brazeal; sister-in-law, Chelsie Hedrick; nephews: Casey Hedrick, Ryder Hedrick, niece, Hevenlee Brazeal, Aunts, Karen (Kowin) Sterling Williams, Sheila and Raul Rodriguez; uncle, Shane and Sheila Barnes; grandparents, Sandra and Gene Barnes; great-grandmother, Bonnie Godinez and numerous cousins and a multitude of friends.
