Larry McDonald, 60, of Loving, New Mexico, passed away Sunday, December 1, 2013 at Carlsbad Medical Center.
A Celebration of Life is scheduled for Wednesday, December 4, 2013, 2:00 PM, at Denton-Wood Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joe Henegar officiating.
Interment will follow in Sunset Gardens Memorial Park, Carlsbad, New Mexico.
Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Larry McDonald was born on November 18, 1953, in Loving, NM, to Raymond Harold and Laura E. (Gaylon) McDonald. He was very devoted to his faith. Larry was a member of Dayspring Fellowship. He loved the outdoors; fishing, hunting, ranching and training horses. Due to his extreme love of horses, Larry attended numerous Ray Hunt training clinics. He was a member of the American Quarter Horse Association. Larry loved his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors are his wife, Linda McDonald of Loving, NM; children: Roger and wife, Jody of Georgetown, Texas, Lonny and companion, Tanna of Carlsbad, NM, Ross and wife, Andra of Lubbock, Texas, Kathy and companion Ralph of Loving, NM; ten grandchildren; siblings: David and wife, Vicki of Loving, NM, Henry and wife, Nancy of Loving, NM, Brenda and husband, Robert of Carlsbad, NM, Glenn and wife, Barbara of Loving, NM, Raymond and wife, Margaret of Dike, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
