Lacy L. Lawson

Lacy L. Lawson, 24, of Alamosa Street, Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away January 16, 2010 in Carlsbad. A Memorial Service is scheduled for Saturday, January 23, 2010, 2:00 PM, at Denton-Wood Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Dennis McKinley officiating. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Lacy was born August 17, 1985 in Carlsbad to Mike Lawson and Janine (Willis) Lawson. She was a very caring person who gave loving care to her grandfather during his illness. Lacy loved her children and often bragged about them. Lacy enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Douglas B. Lawson and Larry Willis; grandmother, Mary Folsom. Survivors include two daughters: Madison of Abilene, TX and Alexis of Abilene, TX; mother, Janine Lawson of Abilene, TX; father, Mike Lawson and wife Gerri of Carlsbad, NM; paternal grandmother, Helen Lawson of Carlsbad, NM; sister, Danielle Dickinson of Midland, TX and step-brother: Ryan Mireles of Albuquerque, NM and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
