Kimberly Dawn "Kim" Wood, 37, former resident, passed away Thursday, December 29, 2011 at her home in Alvin, Texas. There will be no visitation, cremation will take place. A Memorial Service is scheduled for Tuesday, January 3, 2012, 11:00 AM, at Denton-Wood Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Dennis W. McKinley officiating. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Kimberly Dawn "Kim" Wood was born September 6, 1974 in Carlsbad, NM to James F. and Patricia A. (Jones) Wood, Sr. She was preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Wood. She is survived by two daughters: Britni Yoder of Alvin, TX, Hattie Yoder of Alvin, TX; father, James F. Wood, Sr. of Carlsbad, NM; sister, Shannon Wood of Carlsbad, NM; two brothers: James F. Wood, Jr. and wife, Carrie of Midland, TX, Coley C.
