Kent Lee Ingram, 56, of Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away December 4, 2010 at his home.
There will be no visitaiton, cremation has taken place.
A Memorial Service is scheduled for Saturday, December 18, 2010, 11:00 AM, at River of Life Church with Rev. Ramon V. Florez officiating.
There will be a private interment.
Kent Lee Ingram was born October 7, 1954 in Carlsbad, NM. He graduated from Carlsbad High School in 1972. Kent was involved in the FFA as treasurer. He was a bullrider, Golden Glove Boxer Reserved State Champion for two years 1970 and 1971. Kent played the guitar and at one time had his own band. He also played softball. He began welding for Wayne Gregory and later owned his own welding rig truck and worked for various companies. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, fishing, hunting and ranch work off and on throughout the years. Kent became disabled in 1987. He was preceded in death by grandparents: Jack and Audrey Ingram, Charlie and Eula Jones; step-father, James "Doc" Sartain; sister, Cynthia Ingram Griffin and nephews: Justin Griffin and Clint Ingram.
Survivors include four sons: Jake Ingram of Albuquerque, NM, J.D. Ingram and wife, Amy of Farmington, NM, Courtney Ingram of Farmington, NM, William R. Jacks, II and wife, Danna of Abilene, TX; daughter, LeeAnn Ingram of Las Cruces, NM; mother, Naoma Sartain of Amarillo, TX; father, Jack Ingram of Queen, NM; five grandchildren: Jayden and Morgan Ingram, Trey, Grant and Reagan Jacks; three brothers: Kem Ingram of Santa Fe, NM, Calvin Sartain of Amarillo,TX and Jimmy Sartain and wife, Mary Ann of Lewisville, TX; and many other family members.
