Kenneth Loyd Ramsey

Kenneth Loyd Ramsey, 94, of W. Irvin Street, Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away Sunday, January 25, 2015 at his home. There will be no visitation, cremation and a private family burial has taken place. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Kenneth Loyd Ramsey was born June 2, 1920, in Vernon, Texas to William Ulysses Grant and Clara (Huff) Ramsey. Kenneth was a farmer, soldier of WWII, miner and at the age of 64 he learned how to fly. He guided and facilitated four generations through life's endeavors. Kenneth's influence will be felt for generations to come. He was preceded in death by his parents; 1 son; 3 sisters and 2 brothers. Survivors are 1 daughter-in-law and 13 grandchildren. Condolences may be expressed at dentonwood.com.
