Kelly D. Stegall

Kelly D. Stegall, 53, of Carreta Road, Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away Sunday, April 14, 2013 at his home. There will be no visitation, cremation will take place. A Celebration of Life is scheduled for 4:20 pm, April 21, 2013, Sunday, at The Shade Western. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Kelly D. Stegall was born October 31, 1959 in St. Joseph Missouri to Bobby Francis and Carolyn A. (Banning) Stegall. Before moving to Carlsbad, he lived in Hawaii. He loved to sail and was an excellent diver, winning many championships. Kelly won state in diving in Kansas City, Missouri. He was a carpenter and would work on boats, houses and liked wood working. Kelly enjoyed motorcycles. He was preceded in death by his father and brother, John K. Thompson. He is survived by mother, Carolyn Clark of Carlsbad, NM; girlfriend, Trudy Goff of Carlsbad, NM; brother, Stacy Stegall of Carlsbad, NM; nephews: Stacy Stegall, Jr., Shane David Stegall and Skyler Ray Stegall.
