Obituary
Kaylin Sunshine Sunnie Escoto-Reyna, 24, of Artesia, NM, passed away February 25, 2020 in Artesia. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, February 29, 2020 at Landmark Baptist Church with Pastor Dale Hergett officiating.
Sunnie was born March 6, 1995 in Ozaukee County, Wisconsin to Carl and Alison (Works) Hester. She was the ray of sunshine in the lives of all who knew her. Sunnie dearly loved her three babies and was a devoted wife and mother. She was artistic with a unique style of her own. Sunnie was a wonderful, caring friend, especially to her life-long best friend, Melanie and cousins, Alyssa and Andrea. She loved making others laugh and enjoyed life to the fullest.
Survivors are her husband, Jose de Jesus Escoto-Reyna; son, Thomas Rudy Escoto-Reyna; daughters: Charliee Rae Escoto-Reyna and Emelia Mae Escoto-Reyna; parents: Carl and Alison Hester; brothers: Thomas and Jacob Hester; paternal grandparents: Thomas and Dianna Hester; maternal grandmother, Kay Jalkanen; maternal grandfather, Bill Works and wife, Januari; great-grandmother, Ann Moye; father and mother-in-law, Rodolfo Escoto-Sanchez and Estela Escoto-Reyna; brothers-in-law: Jonathan Escoto-Reyna and Adrian Escoto-Reyna; sister-in-law, Neida Escoto-Reyna; aunt, Michelle Smith and husband, Bruce; uncle, William Works; cousins: Alyssa Nichols and husband, Dylan, Andrea McAngus, Bruce Smith, III, Amarah Works and extended family and friends.
