Kathleen Marie Walsh

Kathleen M. Walsh, 66, of Winchester Road, Carlsbad, NM, passed away Monday, December 1, 2014 at her home. Visitation will be 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM, Thursday, December 4, 2014 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home. A Graveside Service is scheduled for Friday, December 5, 2014, 2:00 PM, at Sunset Gardens Memorial Park. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Kathleen "Kathy" Walsh was born November 19, 1948 in Burlington, Iowa to John and Darlene (Ruttan) Walsh. She lived in Imperial, California prior to relocating to Carlsbad in 2011. As a home maker, Kathy was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Kathy loved to do crafts and listen to all types of music but her favorite music was always Country and Western. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Robert "Bob" Underwood. Survivors are her sons: Angelo "A.J." Aguilar and wife, Frances of Arlington, TX, Thomas Kissee and wife, Laura of Olne, IL; step-son, Robert M. Underwood of Parsons, KS; step-daughter, Jennifer Mervine of Marysville, CA; grandchildren: Ariah Aguilar, Alexa Aguilar, Cristela Aguilar, Salvador Aguilar, Jeremy Chapman, Corey Chapman, Robert M. Underwood, Kimberly Underwood, Drake Mervine, Andrew Kissee, Amanda Kissee and John Kissee. Condolences may be expressed at dentonwood.com.
