Kathleen "Kathy" Brown

Obituary Kathleen Kathy Brown, 75, of Denise Drive, Carlsbad, NM, passed away October 1, 2020 at Carlsbad Medical Center. Services will take place at a later date. Kathy was born February 6, 1945 in Natick, Massachusetts to Timothy and Ann (Hennessy) Wallace. After graduating from high school, she began her long-time career with the U.S. government. Kathy started in Okinawa, Japan, transferring to Massachusetts, Texas finish her career before retirement in Southern California. She worked in numerous areas of the government including NASA, Air Force and Navy. Kathy volunteered at Carlsbad Medical Center as a pink lady and cherished the time with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Tony Brown and sister, Carol Woods. Survivors are her son, Tim Brown and wife, McKenna of Carlsbad; grandson, Joseph Brown; granddaughters: Brooklynn Bowen, Riley Jensen and Keira Jensen; brothers: William Wallace, Robert Bobby Wallace, Peter Wallace and Michael Wallace, and numerous nieces, nephews and her four-legged companion, Jade.
