Kassidy Patrika Warren

Kassidy Patrika Warren, 21, of North Country Club Circle, Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away Thursday, March 20, 2014 in Portales, NM. Visitation will be 2:00 PM - 7:00 PM, Tuesday, March 25, 2014, at Denton-Wood Funeral Home. Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, March 26, 2014, 10:00 AM, at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Dan Boyd officiating. Interment will follow in Carlsbad Cemetery, Carlsbad, New Mexico. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Kassidy Patrika Warren was born on July 1, 1992 in Carlsbad, NM to Billy and Allene (Thomas) Warren. She was active in sports, Boys and Girls Club and loved playing league softball. Kassidy also played on the varsity golf team and graduated from Carlsbad High School in 2010. She was currently attending Eastern New Mexico University where she was studying elementary education. Kassidy was an avid photographer and always enjoyed coming home to Carlsbad and never turned down an opportunity to go down to the river with her friends. She loved baking and often baked for her many friends at Eastern. Kassidy was preceded in death by her grandparents, Alvie and Nancy Warren and uncles: Lynn Warren and Roger Warren. Survivors are her parents, Billy and Allene Warren of Carlsbad, NM; sister, Kaitlan Tulk and husband, Cody of Artesia, NM; nephew, Lucas Tulk of Artesia, NM; maternal grandparents, Pat and Frank Pinckert of Carlsbad, NM; aunts: Ruth Goff and Greg Brown of Carlsbad, NM, Jan Warren of Carlsbad, NM; cousins: Trevor Goff, Collin Goff, Austin Goff, Cory Warren and numerous other extended family. Pallbearers will be Trevor Goff, Collin Goff, Austin Goff, David Maley, Phil Dodson and Kim Graham.
