Justino L. Moreno, 79, of Los Arboles Street, Carlsbad, NM, passed away Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at Covenant Medical Center. Visitation will be 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM, Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home Chapel. A Vigil is scheduled for 7:00 PM, Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at San Jose Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for Wednesday, February 26, 2014, 10:00 AM, at San Jose Catholic Church with Father Valentine Jankowski, OFM, Conv. officiating. Interment will follow in Carlsbad Cemetery, Carlsbad, New Mexico. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Justino L. Moreno was born July 22, 1934 in San Miguel, Jalisco, Mexico to Felipe and Juana (Loza) Moreno. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Rafael Moreno; sister, Rosa Moreno and Norberta Moreno. Survivors are his wife, Maria Cruz Moreno of Carlsbad, NM; sons: Juan Jose Moreno, Raul Moreno, Manuel Moreno, Anthony Moreno; daughters: Ebelia del Carmen, Patricia Elizabeth Moreno; step-son, Oscar Martinez; step-daughter, Sandra Martinez; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildern; sisters: Guadalupe Moreno, Genoveva Moreno, Sylvina Moreno, Angelica Moreno, Graciela Moreno; brothers: Juan Moreno, Rigoberto Moreno and numerous nieces and nephews.
