Obituary Justin Neil Swenson, 38, of Carlsbad NM passed away on May 28, 2019. Justin was a victim of a violent crime. Justin was born May 13, 1981 in Monahans, TX to Denis and Denise Swenson. Justin is survived by his father, Denis Swenson, his two children, Alyssa and Kade Swenson, Aaron Swenson , sisters, Crystal Rumfield and spouse Brock Rumfield, Alexis Villanueva and spouse Raul Villanueva , Grandparents Elise Swenson, AJ and Pat Lee, nieces and nephews, many cousins, aunts, uncles, extended family and friends, Justin is preceded in death by his mother, Denise Swenson, grandmother Pat McDaniel, grandfather George Swenson. Justin will be remembered by his family and friends as a loving fun, charismatic, witty, handsome man. He was very mechanically inclined and would take the shirt off his back to help anyone he could. Justin enjoyed spending time with family and friends, watching and cheering for the Dallas Cowboys, a good steak and fixing anything he could. Justin has worked in the oilfield in the Carlsbad NM area for the past 4 years. Justin had a hobby of fixing/restoring old cars/trucks along with fishing. Justin would light up a room with his charismatic personality. The family wishes to acknowledge with deep appreciation the many expressions of love, concern, and kindness shown during this tragic time. The family will be planning a service.
