Justin Nesbit

Justin Nesbit, 33, formerly of Carlsbad, NM passed away on Sunday, June 18, 2023, in Las Cruces, NM. Justin was born on October 13, 1989, in Carlsbad, NM to Dale and Pam Nesbit.

There will be no visitation, and the family will have private services will be held at Carlsbad Cemetery. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Justin grew up in Carlsbad, and was into sports especially baseball. He graduated from the Carlsbad High School in 2008. He later earned his entry level electrician technician certificate. Justin was always known to be a hard worker, and dedicated to whatever he put his mind to. He had a great heart, and always looked for ways to help other. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding motorcycles, and being with his two dogs, Thor and Loki. Most of all, Justin loved his family, and loved being a father.  He loved to take Kay’Lee fishing and spent much of his time doing anything she wanted to do.  Justin loved her more than anything. He will be dearly missed and never forgotten.

Justin was preceded in death by his mother, Pam (McCoy) Nesbit; paternal grandparents, Wyatt and Maryann Nesbit; and maternal grandparents, Glen and Alta McCoy.

Justin is survived by his daughter, Kay’Lee Nesbit of Carlsbad, NM; father, Dale Nesbit of Carlsbad, NM; sister, Krystle Beavers and husband, Jarad of Carlsbad, NM; three nephews: Kaleb Beavers, Casey Beavers, and Camron Beavers; one great nephew, Stetson Nash Beavers; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church, Celebrate Recover Ministry, 112 N. Alameda Street, Carlsbad, NM  88220
