Julia A. Medina

Julia A. Medina, 68, of N. 2nd Street, Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away August 8, 2015 at her home. Visitation will be 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM, Wednesday, August 12, 2015 and will continue 1:00 PM - 7:00 PM, Thursday, August 13, 2015 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home. A Vigil is scheduled for scheduled for Thursday, August 13, 2015, 7:00 PM, at Denton-Wood Funeral Home Chapel. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Julia A. Medina was born July 4, 1947 in San Bernardino, CA to Alejandro and Mary (Arredondo) Robles. She married Francisco M. Medina, Jr. on December 2, 1968 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Julia enjoyed children and helped as a noon aide in the schools for many years. She loved cooking and working in the yard. She was preceded in death by her parents; sons: Alex and Jesus Medina; sisters: Mary Fuentes, Jenny Ward; brothers: Augustine Robles and Joaquin Robles. Survivors are her husband, Frank "Kiko" Medina, Jr. of Carlsbad, NM; son, Francisco "Pancho" Medina, III of Reno, NV; daughters: Julia R. Mota and husband, David of Carlsbad, NM, Savanah G. Medina of Carlsbad, NM; grandchildren: Alex, Rudy, Frank VI, Sonny, Randy, Madie, Daisy, Meadow and four other grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; sister, Josie Sedano; brothers: Manuel Robles, Alex Robles and numerous nieces and nephews.
