Judy Tanner

Judy Tanner, 81, of W. Cherry Lane, Carlsbad, NM, passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at Good Life Senior Living. Cremation has taken place and there will be no services. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Judy was born January 7, 1936 in Newark, New Jersey to Ralph and Ida Amy (Todd) Wickwire. She graduated from high school in Dover, New Jersey. Judy was a legal secretary for over 30 years, working at various law firms in Albuquerque, NM. She enjoyed playing party bridge and had a love of gardening. Judy was also known for her great generosity. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church. Judy was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, William Ganci and her second husband, Richard Tanner. Survivors are her daughter, Deborah Beard of Carlsbad, NM; grandchildren: Matthew Beard of Carlsbad, NM and Daniel Beard of Imperial, PA; 5 great-grandchildren and half-brother, Jimmy Graham of Port Charlotte, FL.
