Obituary Juan V. Franco, 77, of West Greene Street, Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away Monday, June 15, 2020 at his home. Visitation will be 5:00 PM 7:00 PM, Friday, June 19, 2020 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home. Graveside services are scheduled for Saturday, June 20, 2020, 11:30 AM, at Carlsbad Cemetery with Pastor Nick King officiating. Interment will follow in Carlsbad Cemetery, Carlsbad, New Mexico. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Juan V. Franco was born May 9, 1943 in Carlsbad New Mexico to Manuel Franco and Blasa (Valles) Franco. Juan and Mary Helen Sedillo were married for 33 years. He was a hard worker and good husband he worked for Constructors for almost 45 years he was very appreciative. George Shoup Sr. gave him a job. Juan loved his family very much. He loved to go to the Casinos and scratch off tickets and ball power balls. He loved to dance and spend time with his family. Juan was preceded in death by his parents; 5 brothers; 1 sister; first wife: Thersa Franco and daughter: Elisa Navarette; grandson: Lionel Franco, Jr.Survivors are wife: Mary Helen Franco; daughter: Miranda Franco; son: John Franco; daughter: Gina Franco; son: Lionel Franco; step son: Brijido Carrillo; step daughter: Mary Helen Catalan; 14 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Pallbearers are Lionel Franco, John Franco, Joshua Buendia, Steven Huereque, Bryan Huereque and Brijido Carrillo.
