Joyce Faye Bartlett was born on February 3, 1938 in Brownfield, Texas. She passed away on April 29, 2021 in Lovington, New Mexico. Joyce met George T. Bartlett in Carlsbad, NM. They married in July of 1955. Joyce and George made their home in Carlsbad, where they lived for 66 years. They had four children, seven grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren. Joyce spent her life raising her children and spoiling her grandchildren. She was a true believer in Jesus Christ. Joyce taught Junior Church for many years and was faithful in her church attendance. She was very passionate about quilting, sewing, cooking, baking, and well known for her chocolate and coconut cream pies. Joyce was extremely loved by her family and friends. She will be dearly missed and never forgotten. Joyce was preceded in death her spouse, George T. Bartlett, parents, brothers: Larry and Carlton Golleher, and two great-grandchildren. She is survived by her children: Cindy Porter of Carlsbad, NM, Donna Thiebaud of Lubbock, TX, Brenda Anglin and spouse Patrick of Lubbock, TX, Justin Bartlett and spouse Jeannie of Carlsbad, NM, grandchildren: Jessica Crabb and partner Dale of Lubbock, TX, Jeremy Crabb of Lubbock, TX, Gabriel Crabb and spouse Lauren of McKinney, TX. Aaron Blair and partner Tara of Carlsbad, NM; Alaina Bartlett of Carlsbad, NM, Matthew Porter of Carlsbad, NM, Lacey Perkins and spouse Nathan of Carlsbad, NM; great-grandchildren: Jaylee, Thomas, Kali, Mckenzie, Sydney, Nolan, Preslea, Paxton, Jaxon and Lily. Cremation has taken place and family will have services at a later date.
