It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jose Luis Juarez, Jr. on February 1st, at the age of 41. Jose will be remembered for his world-class personality, bright smile, and his distinct laugh. Jose knew no strangers, and every friend was considered family.
Jose was born on May 21, 1983, at Carlsbad Medical Center in Carlsbad, New Mexico, to Jose Luis Juarez, Sr. and Rosalinda Hernandez. He grew up in Carlsbad and had a wide range of friends he made through school, work, and his various hobbies. Any one of Jose’s friends and family will forever remember the energy he brought to any occasion, with his pranks and his jokes.
Jose's various hobbies included cars, Airsoft, RC cars, motorcycles, softball, and gaming, to name a few. He enjoyed meeting people through his hobbies and was always ready to go out and have fun. Jose had a passion for anything with wheels and is most known for his love of cars and the number of cars he owned throughout his life. He enjoyed tuning, building, and racing cars; he also enjoyed sharing his hobbies with children, siblings, cousins, nieces, and nephews, using any opportunity to coach and mentor. Jose will be missed by numerous people whose lives he touched.
Jose is survived by his son Kayden, daughter Kynsli Rose, father Jose Juarez Sr., sister Blanca Juarez & spouse David Pineda, sister Yazmin Juarez, brother Nayid Juarez, brother and spouse Sergio and Autumn Guillen, significant other Veronica Hernandez and his bonus children Kevin, Devin, and Samirah; nephews JoJo, Dom, Noah, Esai and Dallas; nieces Nayeli, Everly and Nyah; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother Rosalinda Hernandez and grandmother Santos Rodriguez.
Visitation will be 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM, Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, Thursday, February 13, 2025 at Oasis Church. Interment will follow in Santa Catarina Cemetery, Carlsbad, New Mexico. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Pallbearers will be Sergio Guillen, Jeremy Lujan, Elias Osorio, David Pineda, Jaron Singleton, Nick Radesovich, Cesar Anaya, and Edward Calderon.
Honorary Pallbearers are Brandon Sanchez, Kayden, JoJo, Dom, Noah, Devin, Kevin, & Manuel Hernandez.
