Jose was born April 22, 1975 in Carlsbad, NM to Jose and Norine (Najera) Lerma. He is survived by his wife, Valerie N. Lerma; children: JC Lerma, Leilani Lerma, Angelina Lerma, Jeremiah Lerma and Alyssa Saiz; parents: Jose and Norine Lerma; brothers: Roman Lerma and wife, Jennifer, Javier Lerma and wife, April; cousins: Rose Montoya and Benito Lerma and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
