Obituary Jose Joe Juarez Saiz, 72, of Florida Street, Carlsbad, NM, passed away April 24, 2019 in Hobbs, NM. Visitation is scheduled for 4:00 PM 5:00 PM, Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home. A vigil will be held at 7:00 PM, Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at San Jose Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at San Jose Catholic Church with Fr. Dennis Connell officiating. Interment will follow in Carlsbad Cemetery, Carlsbad, NM. Joe was born August 9, 1946 in Carlsbad, NM to Ben Saiz, Sr. ad Francisca (Juarez) Saiz. He was preceded in death by his parents; Michael Saiz, Joey Saiz, Merced Saiz, Manuel Saiz, Ricky Saiz and Rosa Chavez. Survivors are his niece, Sylvia Saiz of Carlsbad; children: Kristina, Patricia, Yvonne, Tommy, Renee and Ronnie; brothers: Ben Saiz, Jr., Salvador Saiz, Robert Saiz, Raymundo Saiz, Roy Saiz; sisters: Celia Medrano, Lorena Muniz and Mary Jane Fuentez; numerous grandchildren and many other extended family members. Pallbearers will be Gerald Saiz, Luis Chavez, Jr., Sammy Saiz, Joshua Fuentes, Salvador Saiz, Jr. and Stevie Saiz.
