Obituary Joe Campos, Jr., 52, of Lujan Street Carlsbad, New Mexico passed away on Tuesday, October 6, 2020, in Lubbock, Texas. Joe was born in Orange County, California on March 30, 1968, to Joe and Mary Campos, Sr. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Friday, October 16, 2020, at Denton-Wood Funeral Home Chapel, followed by a private Rosary. The funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 PM Saturday, October 17, 2020, at Oasis Christian Fellowship with Robert Jacquez officiating. Following will be an interment at Carlsbad Cemetery Carlsbad, NM. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Joe was a kind hearted person, who could light up a room when he walked in. He had a great sense of humor, and conveyed his love for you by a simple facial expression. He also would call and check in with people, making their day. Joe will be dearly missed and never forgotten. Joe was preceded in death by his mother, Mary La Lou Campos; brothers: Sam Lopezand Donnie Lopez. Joe is survived by his daughter Jenise Campos of Carlsbad, NM; daughter, Cassandra Lopez of Carlsbad, NM; son, Joe Campos, III of Carlsbad, NM; son, Anthony Campos of Carlsbad, NM; daughter, Adriana Hinojos of Carlsbad, NM; three grandchildren: Jenae Gutierrez, Jeniah Gutierrez, and Emilio Campos Hernandez; father, Joe Campos, Sr. of Carlsbad, NM; sister, Norma Hill and husband, David of Carlsbad, NM; sister, Josie Bustos of Albuquerque, NM; brother, Jerrold Campos and wife, Stephanie of Carlsbad, NM; brother, Anthony Campos of Carlsbad, NM; and numerous nieces and nephews.
