JoAnn King, 71, of West Pierce Street, Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away Monday, November 10, 2014 at Lakeview Christian Home. There will be no visitation, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service is scheduled for Monday, November 17, 2014, 10:00 AM, at Central Christian Church with Kraig Birchfield officiating. Private interment will be held in Carlsbad Cemetery, Carlsbad, New Mexico. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. JoAnn King was born November 28, 1942 in Blanco, Oklahoma to Louie Virgil and Ida (Ruyon) Fry. She loved playing bingo, reading and crossword puzzles. She was preceded in death by her son, Robert Fry King; brother, William Deboard and sister, Sandra Day. Survivors are sons: Danny King and wife, Tiffany of Carlsbad, NM, Michael Rickabaugh and wife, Tonnya of Enid, Oklahoma; daughter, Mitzi Cargo and husband, Dayton of Medford, Oklahoma; grandchildren: Violet Cargo, Vail Cargo, Jayden Rickabaugh, Lily King and Robert King; brothers: Danny Fry of Carlsbad, NM Andy Fry of Carlsbad, NM; nieces: Misty Klug of Carlsbad, NM, Cindy and Samantha Stoltzfus of Pennsylvania, Dedra Cook of Carlsbad, NM and nephew, Dustin Stoltzfus of Carlsbad, NM.
