Jimmy Ray Walls, Jr.

Jimmy Ray Walls, Jr. passed away on Wednesday, August 11, 2021, he was 62. He was born on February 16, 1959, in Carlsbad, NM, to Jim Ray Walls and Claudine (Arrington) Walls. He lived life on his own terms. Hard and fast in his younger years, but later in life embraced a more relaxed pace when he moved to the Sacramento Mountains. Jimmy’s family cabin in the mountains is the place where some of his most impressing memories originated. Whether it be stoking the wood burning stove during the winter or exploring the mountains on the four-wheeler in the summer, he enjoyed every minute. Once his health could no longer support him living in the mountains, he moved back to Carlsbad where he enjoyed the company of his family. He lived out the rest of his days loving his grandkids and grandpets.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by two sons, Chace Walls, wife Tara and their daughter, Addison Skye, and Chris Walls, wife Saren and their children Nathan Ray, Lucas Malachi, and Penelope Grace; Two sisters, Debbie Dugas, husband Brad, and Darla Walls, partner Lana Parks; Three nieces and one nephew and several great-nieces and great-nephews; His beloved bird, Peachy, his constant companion who was always so glad to see him.

Viewing will be held on Wednesday, August 18th from 1:30 to 2:30 followed by internment.
