Obituary Jimmy Jim Wilsher, 44, of Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away Monday, May 14, 2018 at Carlsbad Medical Center. Visitation will be 5:00 PM 7:00 PM, Thursday, May 17, 2018 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, Friday, May 18, 2018 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ronald McDuff officiating. Interment will follow in Carlsbad Cemetery, Carlsbad, New Mexico. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Jimmy Jim Wilsher was born July 20, 1973 in Carlsbad, New Mexico to John and Luetta (Cantrell) Wilsher. He graduated from Bethel Christian School in 1991. Jim has worked in the family business, J & J Pipe and Supply. He was an avid NASCAR fan. Jim studied the Bible often and was a devoted member of Jesus Name Tabernacle. He loved his country and was very patriotic. Jim was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Joyce and Elmer Lee Cantrell; paternal grandparents, John E. Wilsher, Tom Hollis and Cletis Hollis; aunt and uncle, Karen and Tommy Hollis. Survivors are his parents, John and Luetta Wilsher of Carlsbad, NM; sister, Belinda Parker and husband, Kenneth of Carlsbad, NM; niece, his pride and joy, Jaylene Wilsher-Parker and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Pallbearers will be Ernie Hacker, Ray Ray Chavez, Kyle McKnight, Derrick McKnight, Justin McKnight, Everett Phillips, Mack Rubio and Bill Gillock. Honorary pallbearers are Mark Lumus, Shane McKnight, Jaylene Wilsher-Parker and brother-in-law, Kenneth Parker.
