Jesus H. Herrera, 67, of Fleetwood, Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away October 1, 2009 at his home. A Memorial Service is scheduled for Saturday, October 3, 2009, 10:00 AM, at Denton-Wood Funeral Home with Chaplain Terry McKean officiating. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Jesus H. Herrera was born December 25, 1941 in Sierra Blanca, Texas to Ramon and Guadalupe (Holguin) Herrera. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister. He is survived by his wife, Martha Herrera of Carlsbad, NM; five children, Sylvia Ponce and husband, Juan of Odessa, TX, Octavio Herrera and wife, Lucy of Ruidoso, NM, Sandra Bustamente and husband, Hector of Carlsbad, NM, Jessie Herrera and wife, Cynthia of El Paso, TX, Rafael Herrea and wife, Shanda of Las Cruces, NM; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two brothers and two sisters.
