Jesse D. Duplissey, Sr., 62, of N. Thomas Street, Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at Kindred Hospital, Albuquerque, NM.
Visitation will be 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM, Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home.
Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, December 28, 2016, 2:00 PM, at Denton-Wood Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Dick Means officiating.
Interment will follow in Carlsbad Cemetery, Carlsbad, New Mexico.
Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Jesse D. Duplissey was born February 3, 1954 in Miami, Florida to Josh and Carol (Crouse) Duplissey and moved to Carlsbad as a child with his parents. He graduated from Carlsbad High School in 1972. Jesse received his Journeyman license in 1975 and has worked as an electrician over 40 years. He enjoyed the outdoors and cooking, especially southern food. Jesse was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors are his son, Jesse Duplissey, Jr. and wife, Brandy of Carlsbad, NM; daughter, Wendy Rhoades and husband, James of Carlsbad, NM; grandchildren: Julianne Rhoades, Weston Rhoades, Jenna Rhoades, Tyler Duplissey and Kaylee Duplissey; brother, Rev. James Duplissey of Roswell, NM; sister, Jennette Duplissey of Carlsbad, NM and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Pallbearers will be Jesse Duplissey, Jr., James Rhoades, Jason Sedgwick, Gary McKinley, David Williams, and John Valenzuela.
