Jerry D. Osborne

Jerry D. Osborne, 66, of Amber Drive, Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away Monday, December 27, 2015 at his home. Visitation will be 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM, Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home. Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, December 31, 2015, 10:00 AM, at Denton-Wood Funeral Home Chapel with Brad Sorrell, son-in-law, officiating. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Jerry D. Osborne was born January 28, 1949 in Cleburne, Texas to Dub and Pearl (Watson) Osborne. He graduated from Grandview High School in 1967. Jerry worked in numerous nuclear facilities before moving to Carlsbad in 1990. He went to work at WIPP upon moving to Carlsbad where he worked until retiring in 2011. Jerry married Terrel Williams April 2, 1993. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and muscle car enthusiast. Jerry was the type of person who always took good care of his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors are his wife, Terrel Williams Osborne of Carlsbad, NM; children: Misti Cates and husband, Troy, Jeff Osborne and wife, Callie, Jason Williams and wife, Tonya, Amanda Williams, Dawn Ruiz and husband, Johnny, Marie Sorrell and husband, Brad, Jeremy Osborne and wife, Katy, Kimberly Smith; grandchildren: Kristopher, Justin, Sabrina, Caitlan, Cheyne, Rhett, Jesse, Taylor, M.J., Meshach, Micaiah, Micki, Athena, Tessa, Meadow, Jadelynn, Mia, Adair, Zach, Matthew, Cole, Ryker, Tisha, Shae and Libby; brother, Charles Osborne and wife, Dorris; sister, JoAnne Frizzell and husband, Jim; close friend, Martha Chapman and numerous nieces and nephews.
