Jeremy Paul Gadbury

Jeremy Paul Gadbury, 38, of Baltros Court, Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away Sunday, November 20, 2016 at University Medical Center, Lubbock, Texas. Visitation will be 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM, Wednesday, November 23, 2016 and 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM, Friday, November 25, 2016 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, November 25, 2016, 2:00 PM, at Calvary Assembly of God Church with Rev. Phillip Price officiating. Interment will follow in Carlsbad Cemetery, Carlsbad, New Mexico. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Jeremy Paul Gadbury was born September 30, 1978 in Carlsbad, NM to Paul and Diane (Ross) Gadbury. He graduated from Carlsbad High School in 1997 and received a bachelor's degree in Business and Marketing from NMSU. Jeremy returned to Carlsbad where he went to work for Carlsbad Mental Health, working there 11 years. Most recently he worked at NMSU-Carlsbad as a counselor. Jeremy was an avid sports fan and was a die hard Broncos fan but most importantly he loved spending time with his daughter who he affectionately called "Bub". He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Patsy Madera; grandparents: Calvin and Lynda Gadbury, Pop and Jessie Ross; uncles Deno and Gene Shull and Rodney Gadbury. Survivors are his wife, Brianna Gadbury-Sides of Carlsbad, NM; daughter, Gwen Gadbury of Carlsbad, NM; parents: Paul and Diane Gadbury of Carlsbad, NM; uncles and aunts: James Strawbridge, Vicki Shull, Leroy and Debbie Ross, Donnie and Tresa Ross, Ricky and Barbara Ross, Pat Shull; father and mother-in-law, Bill and Regina Sides and numerous cousins and friends. Pallbearers will be Donnie Gibson, Jesse Haas, Ron Bailey, Seth Bannister, Zach Bannister, Mateo Alaniz, Ean Sides and Jimmy Shull. Honorary pallbearers are Michael Ross, James Strawbridge, Donnie Ross, Jr., Dakota Shull and Roger Shull. Condolences may be expressed at dentonwood.com
