Jennifer Nalty, 38, of N. Halagueno Street, Carlsbad, NM, passed away June 25, 2023 at Heart Hospital of NM, Albuquerque.  Visitation will be 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM, Wednesday, July 5, 2023 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home.  Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 AM, Thursday, July 6, 2023 at Pecos River Village Conference Center – Carousel House with Pastor Michael Lee officiating. Interment will follow in Carlsbad Cemetery.  Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Jennifer was born October 31, 1984 in Carlsbad, NM.  She worked at the Post Time in the early years and Cal’s Shade Western over 14 years.  Jennifer was known for helping people, no matter who they were. She was involved in many fundraisers through the years, always helping those in need.  Jennifer was the recipient of Carlsbad 40 Under 40 in 2022.  She was preceded in death by one child, Baby Billy.

Survivors are her daughters: Kennice Hays and VaNessa Fields; mother, Mary Pennell and husband, Chris; father, Jody Nalty and wife, Mary; sisters: Melissa Swader and husband, Joey, Jodie McKinnis and husband, Adam, Stephanie Nalty and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Skyler Stegall, Stacy Stegall, Daniel Fields, Mike Sostrich, Clint McKibben and Cody Zane Wells.
