Jeff D. Lawler, 44, went to be with the Lord, on Tuesday September 24, 2013. He was born in Burien, Washington on July 21, 1969 to Jerry and Janice (Thompson) Lawler Warren. At age one he moved with his family to Carlsbad. Jeff worked at Mosaic Potash as a Workflow Coordinator and in the potash industry for many years. He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry; son, Brandon Lawler; grandmother, Viola Jones and stepfather, Lynn Warren.
The joy and love of his life were his precious daughter Jaidyn and son Brandon. Jeff was a very special and kind person; he never met a stranger, made you feel like you had always known him. He enjoyed cooking out with family and friends, riding his Harley, watching sports and aggravating his dogs.
He is survived by his daughter Jaidyn; wife, Irma; stepson. Miguel Luna; mother, Jan Warren; sister, Jalan and husband, Troy; nephew, Brent; niece, Kara Padilla all of Carlsbad; sister, Winona Lawler of Oklahoma; grandmother, Verna Hensley of Carlsbad; in-laws, Vidal and Emma Hinojos and family of Loving, NM and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Memorial Service is scheduled Monday, 2:00 PM, September 30, 2013 at First Christian Church with Rev. David W. Rogers officiating. Burial will follow at Carlsbad Cemetery. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
