Jeanette M. Stroud

Jeanette M. Stroud, 61, of Old Cavern Highway, Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away Saturday, April 18, 2015 at her home. There will be no visitation, cremation has taken place. Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, April 23, 2015, 10:00 AM, at Denton-Wood Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jimmy Tarvin officiating. Interment will follow in Carlsbad Cemetery, Carlsbad, New Mexico. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Jeanette M. Stroud was born June 29, 1953 to Bill and Joe (Eslick) Swaney in Knoxville, Tennessee. She worked for Wal-Mart 23 years. Jeanette always loved spending time with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Darrel Stroud; daughter, Jodi Hood and brother, David Wayne Swaney.
