Jean F. Patton

Jean Patton's family would like everyone to know that her time here is done. It is a blessing, for she will be reunited with her beloved husband. Together again they will enjoy each other's company after many years. Jean was born March 26, 1930 in Floydada, Texas. She grew up in Dimmit, Texas where she met and married Yates Patton on December 25, 1948 and was blessed with over 55 years of marriage. Yates preceded her in death on November 7, 2004. Jean passed away March 11, 2016. She is survived by her children Robert Patton and wife Brenda, and Janita Taylor and husband Bruce; grandchildren Shane Frie and wife Kim, Kyle Frie, Jason Patton and wife Linda, and Jeri Patton; great grandchildren Karissa Clayton and husband Justin, Cody Frie, Victoria Patton, Steven Patton, Reilly Frie, Bella Vasquez and Elena Vasquez. There will be a graveside service at 10:30 AM, Saturday, March 19, 2016 at Carlsbad Cemetery, Carlsbad, New Mexico with Pastor Dick Means officiating. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
