Jay Luther Galyon

Jay Luther Galyon, 82, of North Halagueno Street, Carlsbad, NM, passed away Sunday, January 26, 2014 at his home. There will be no visitation, cremation will take place and no public services will be held. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Jay Luther Galyon was born May 6, 1931 in Rockwood, Tennessee to Luther and Laura (Green) Galyon. He was a treasured and loving husband and father, who will be greatly missed. Jay was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors are his wife of 37 years, Penny Galyon of Carlsbad, NM and two sons: David Galyon of Portales, NM, Jay Galyon, Jr. of Carlsbad, NM.
